BENEFITS OF AKIRA Cream 20gm

Melasma is a common skin problem that causes dark, discolored patches on your skin. It is more commonly seen in females than males. Akira Cream helps to lighten these dark patches of the skin usually caused by pregnancy, birth control pills, hormone medicine, or injury to the skin. It effectively blocks that process in the skin that leads to discoloration. Akira Cream also reduces any redness, rash, pain, or itchiness that may be caused by this condition. This improves your self-esteem and confidence as your appearance changes. You should always use it as prescribed and only apply the amount you have been told to. Keep using it for as long as it is prescribed to get the full benefits.

Tranexamic acid is synthetically derived from the amino acid lysine. Lysine is an amino acid (a building block of protein). Unlike some other amino acids, the human body cannot make lysine; therefore, it must be eaten in the diet. Sources of lysine include meat, fish, dairy, eggs, and some plants such as soy and other legumes.

Tranexamic acid tackles hyperpigmentation by providing a powerful and specific anti-inflammatory action, inhibiting the tyrosinase synthesis in melanocytes. At the same time it blocks the transfer of pigment from melanocytes to keratinocytes in the epidermis. Tranexamic acid also calms the skin and helps restore the skin barrier.

I’ve had a large hyperpigmentation spot on my forehead that I’ve had for 15 years!! I’ve visited dozen of dermatologists and all said they couldn’t do much about it. Also having dark skin mostly ruled out any laser treatments. It was considered permanent hyperpigmentation that I received from popping a pimple back in high school that eventually scarred me. Most treatments would work for a while, stop working, and then make things worse. So in short that is my story. So what I realized is that this product works best when there is increased contact time. Meaning the best method is to put a small glob on the spot and let it dry. The next day or before I would go out I would wash it off. What happens is the spot it was on, would dry out the skin and flake off. I would lotion the spot every few days but mostly would wait for the layer to flake off. I did use a salicylic acid face wash very sparingly to help with debridement, but it probably isn’t needed and could raise the risk of irritating the spot. In short, it has completely cleared the spot in only a few weeks. I highly recommend this product!!
